from I to Be

I am dead because I lack desire;
I lack desire because I think I possess;
I think I possess because I do not try to give.
In trying to give you see that you have nothing;
Seeing that you have nothing you try to give of yourself.
Trying to give of yourself you see that you are nothing,
Seeing that you are nothing, you desire to become;
In trying to become, you begin to be.

Another very late post going to bed. For the past several weeks I've been training at WMUA 91.1 at UMASS Amherst, a very cool and funky station serving independent music lovers in the Pioneer Valley. There is much to share with everyone about WMUA, it's programming format and mission, but I'll have to save that for later - soon, I hope - so that I can finally post the podcasts and playlists from my two overnight stints. To listen to a podcast of what the show sounded like, there's a flash player at the end of the post/ playlist for your listening pleasure.
